Cardinals

I have just recently finished my watercolor painting,
 'Cardinals'

I love how the two are nestled in
amongst heavy snow ladened fir boughs.

There are no cardinals here in Olympia, where I live,
but when I lived back east in Rhode Island for a
time, I would occasionally see them and they were
a rare and beautiful sight to behold.

I have printed my painting onto heavy, feather-edged
cardstock cards, they are blank inside and also come
with matching feather edged envelopes.

I have softened up the edges a little bit and heavy ladened
those boughs with a generous amount of ultra fine crystal glitter
(which doesn't really show up on this picture very well).

This is not my usual smattering of a little here
and there for that frosty look  :-)   No, it's alot!!!

Thes cards and many more are all available at
 my ETSY store.

  4. If I understand right, we enter three times? so here's my comment for my third entry.

I have cardinals come to my feeder all the time. One spring I spotted a pair at my feeder. The male would dig through the seeds then daintily feed the one he chose to the female. I found out they were courting! It was the was the sweetest sight. :o)

Your esty shop has so much to choose from and if I had to have a favorite it would be something with snow and birds. I would be honored to be chosen as the winner of the cards. 12. Hi,
I am a follower now! I went to your etsy shop and it's hard to pick one thing, but if I don't win the cardinal cards I will be buying them. My mother loved cardinals so I would be sending them as Christmas cards to my 3 sisters. Love the robin magnets too.
